In my workshops we sing and learn musical concepts through singing games and traditional songs. We learn the essential strategies for a Kodály classroom: relative solfege, hand signs, rhythm names, and how to connect the physical experience to musical literacy.
My sessions range from 2-hour workshops in Spanish singing games and traditional songs for the classroom to 3-week intensive training in the Kodály approach. What do you want to share with your students? Are you the director of the music department for your district and you’d like all your K-5 teachers to find beautiful ways to connect to their Spanish speaking students? Or would you like your teachers to learn how to use singing games to create respect, appreciation and trust amongst the students, while at the same time building self-confidence, joyfulness and creativity? Let’s talk! CLICK HERE.
